How it all started...
Pastor Tim and Pastor James developed an authentic friendship several years ago and were a source of constant encouragement to one another, as men of God. They exemplified Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another" (NIV).
One afternoon, Pastor James reached out to Pastor Tim and asked him to drop by his office as he believed that God has placed something on his heart. Simultaneously, Pastor Tim had been leading his congregation to pray for God to provide them a better location for the church with plenty of room to grow and to expand. When they met, God brought the two men together to lead the two congregations to merge.
On March 16, 2025 the churches met at 3700 N. Robison Road for the first time as Oasis Life Church. Trucks brought in new chairs and more as our people began to make the campus Oasis Life. Over the next few months fresh paint, new flooring, large LED screens and more led us into an expansive remodeling so we could be ready for you! During those early months, a combined staff began to expand the ministries as well.

Expanding the vision...
We are thrilled with the vision God has placed before us in reaching Texarkana and the world with the amazing gospel of Jesus Christ. This includes, not only winning people to Christ, but intentionally equipping individuals and families to be Champions for Christ!
Where we are headed...
We are a mission minded church who loves people in Texarkana and those around the world. Currently, we are reaching people in our city and are supporting missions in Brazil, Panama, India, Tanzania, and Guatemala.
God has also placed in our heart to launch a training center or Bible school to train men and women to expand the ministry of Oasis Life Church throughout the United States and to send missionaries to the nations! Pastor James Boulton will be taking the lead on this when we enter the second phase of this God given vision for our future.
