Oasis Life Church of Texarkana was born in the heart of God and is the outcome of merging Free Life Church and Oasis Community Church in March 2025.  The synergy created in the merging of hearts, heads, and hands has already brought about a clear vision and mission to reach Texarkana and the world with the Gospel .

Tim Montgomery

Co-Founder & Campus Pastor
Tim and Shannon have 6 adult children and 11 grandchildren, with number 12 on the way!  With over 38 years of pastoral ministry and a gift for teaching the Word of God, Tim brings a unique set of gifts and experiences to help you become a champion for Christ.  Tim is crazy in love with Shannon and enjoys jazz, scuba diving, and anything chocolate with peanut butter!

James Boulton

Co-Founder & Vision Pastor
Married to Christine since 2007 (met in Bible college); proud dad to sons Ryker & Eli.
•20+ years in ministry: church planting, multi-site staff, Bible college grad. Passionate about God’s Presence, Word-rooted faith, and equipping others to share the gospel.
•Loves family adventures, travel, hunting, cooking, and music..

Jennifer Harland, PCED

Business & Ministry Coordinator

Jennifer brings a unique blend of administrative expertise and a heart for service, honed through years of experience in both corporate and volunteer leadership..  Bridging members and neighbors through initiatives and local partnerships drives her motivation to serve.   With a background in community and economic development, Jennifer’s passion is to ensure that the church's business functions directly support its ministry goals, allowing staff and volunteers to focus on serving the community..  Balancing farm life with family and community service, Jennifer and her husband, Craig, also enjoy travel.
